Apparently the hashtag #VMA is trending on Twitter for a reason. And right now tons of tweets are raving about Kanye’s latest rant. Video Music Awards are going on right now as we speak. The awards are being handed out now. The first award handed out was for Best Female Video. The nominees included Kelly Clarkson, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, and Taylor Swift. And the winner was Taylor Swift. And here’s the kicker: her big moment was spoiled by Kanye West, who had to take the stage to tell Swift that he would let her have her moment but that “Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time.” The crowd was not amused, especially Beyonce, and you could see it on her face! Swift was gracious, and thanked the crowd. She acknowledged her country roots and was very grateful for her win. It was somewhat of a surprise, as many had figured Lady Gaga or Beyonce had this category nailed. But either way, this just goes to show that Kanye is back to his old self, complaining every time he doesn’t get the biggest dinner roll at the table. Sad, but yet, so entertaining!
