You just have to drag the icon out of the dock, let it go *poof*, and then drag it in again (from the Finder)

Hi. This worked well for me with some apps (iTunes, Safari, Chrome, etc.) but when I got to the actual App Store it didn't work! I had to change some permissions to get the image up, but then all I saw was the preview, so I tried CMD+X. Nothing. Any thoughts?

I've tryed this a couple of time along with pasting new icons. It shows the correct icon in Finder but not in the dock. What is going wrong? :/
